Cambridge Union Chamber
The Cambridge Union Society is the oldest student debating society in the world and Cambridge University's largest society.
The centrepiece of the Society is undoubtedly its historic debating chamber. The important and the humble have spoken to these hallowed walls in equal measure. Recently, members have been addressed here by, inter alia, the President of Iraq, Boris Berezovsky, Jung Chang and (via video link) Colonel Gaddafi.
The Union Chamber will host a series of large events during Spring Wordfest 2011.
