Jeanette Winterson - Literary Legends
Making her debut at cambridge wordfest, Jeanette Winterson is one of our finest living writers. She rocked the literary world in 1985 with her debut novel, Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit, and has since published seven novels. Jeanette will be reading from Weight , her unique retelling of the myth of Atlas & Heracles. Be sure to book early for this literary highlight .

Tony Harrison - Pause for Poetry
Also making his debut at cambridge wor fest, Tony Harrison is one of our finest living poets. Reading from his much awaited Collected Poems which are just published in celebration of his 70th birthday; this is the first complete edition of his poetry. A rare treat to have this maestro of the poetry world who, in the words of Harold Pinter, is " Brilliant, passionate, outrageous, abrasive, but also.immeasurably tender".
